I’m interested, but I’m not sure where to start. Can you help?

Of course! My job is to guide and support you in finding the right process for you. Some people like to dive straight into the deep end of a swimming pool, while others (myself included) like to slowly walk down one step at a time.  Everyone is different. We’ll find a pathway that works for you. That you feel comfortable with. Excited by even.

How do I prepare for ceremonies?

Preparation is a really important part of the process. That means preparing physically, emotionally and mentally.  I’m here to guide you through it. I will share the preparation materials. We’ll jump on prep calls to ensure you’re ready and stay in touch throughout the process on WhatsApp.

Can I bring my partner or family member?

It’s very healing to do this work with friends and family. If there is someone in your life who could benefit but isn’t ready, that’s okay. The benefits of the work we do will naturally impact others; just like the butterfly effect. You’d be amazed how your relationships shift just because of the process you’ve been through. And when or if they’re ready, they’re welcome.

Will I be okay to work post-ceremony?

Absolutely. You may even feel re-energized in your everyday life. I do recommend that as much as possible post ceremony you give yourself some space to rest. So, if you can shift some meetings or take a half day or a day, that will be very supportive.

How often can I work with these plants? Can I get addicted?

When plant medicines are used as medicine, with intention, the process is different from your standard recreational use. Some people have a journey once in their life and that’s sufficient, and for others, it’s a process of unpacking layer by layer. Psychedelics work differently to other traditional “substances”, including pharmaceuticals. The more you work with them, typically the less you need them.

What about a ‘bad trip’?

In a ceremonial setting, you will be safe and held. In my experience, ‘bad trips’ occur when mind-altering substances are used in a recreational and uncontrolled setting.  The energy of an environment plays a huge role in the experience. When you don’t feel safe in your “setting”, it will be difficult to surrender to whatever emotions are arising and you may suppress them or struggle through them.  A challenging trip is not the same as a ‘bad trip’. You will be guided to work through whatever you need. When you work with the medicine in safety, magical things can be unlocked. From the 100s of individuals I’ve worked with and journeyed with, I’ve never met anyone who regretted working with these medicines.

Are these plant medicines safe to work with?

All the medicines are safe to consume and have been sourced directly from trusted medicine makers. For certain medicines, such as Ayahuasca, there are certain physical conditions and medications that are not compatible (such as SSRI antidepressants and MAO inhibitors).  Please rest assured, we will do a thorough screening with you to ensure you are not at any risk.
